Wed, I love the Heath's! They have us over for dinner every Wed night!!! They are the best! We gave two blessings today! Sis Moss and Sis Leach! It is a humbling experience to do those and i have given a ton recently!
Thurs, We had DM today! It was a good one except for the fact that i am in the weirdest district ever! My comp fits right in and i think thinks this is the best district ever! We did Family History today too and it was a good experience! I really need all the stuff you got on people or give me your log in for family search and let me go on your's haha! We met a cool less-active who wants us to come back! Jerry Seper! He is an older man who hasn't been to church in 20+ years. Hopefully we can change that and his non-member wife ;] Also met some crazier less actives Nickels fam. Think drugs messed them up! Virginia who is like 78 started to sing about Jesus loving children to us haha. Kinda funny but also sad in a way but don't really know what happened! They don't come to church cause they don't have a ride and i don't think any one in the ward remember's them!
Fri, Had a meeting with Adeyemi! in the morning! He referred himself form mormon.org! That is a good website. We taught him the first lesson and told him to read Moroni 10 and pray about it! He did later and said he felt good and not a complete answer yet! but it comes little by little and i think he will get it! Came from Nigeria last month! Says he thinks God is leading him to something here in the U.S.! Might be a cool story at the end if he finds this out! We then talked with a less-active about life or in other words this less-active talked for an hour haha. Brother Godfrey Onyujeckway or something of sorts. we then had a lesson with the Knights! Senior couple! Bria an investigator! She seemed like she didn't want to talk at the very beginning but by the end of the lesson she seemed to warm up! She is 17 and the 5 different people in the ward called us this week about her baptism! Had to push it back but i think it is still going to happen and hopefully this transfer! Also took Ify Ibe a less active person on splits to a less active family the Bookers! Ify committed them to come to church! well it got Ify there haha!
Sat,Today we had 5 apt! haha all of them dogged haha. But we made an apt today and it held for that evening! Nde Ibe who is Iffy's non-member brother. Only non-member in a less active family except the father who works in the temple every week haha go figure! It was a good plan of salvation lesson! spirit was there! I have good hopes for him!
Sun, Church was really good! I seem to be getting alot out of Elder's quorum lately! I have really really gotten into the lesson's! i think it might mean i am getting old haha. jk. We taught Shavez and Darion the P.o.S. and compared it too a football game! it was a fun lesson and i think they understood it! we then got dogged and had a good rest of the night checking on people.
Mon, It was a good day! We picked up a potential Mary thru tracting! My goodness it finally worked for one time haha. It was right after a less active slammed the door in our face! Man i love pissing people off sometimes haha. we met with a new member...lived here since June but haven't gotten ahold of her and she went to the wrong ward this last week! Think she just got settled and is ready for church again! Sis Ross is her name! 2 kids and we took Bro Gish along with us! Bro Gish took us out to dinner just before that! he is in the Stake Y.M. and is super cool! They gave us a ton of food to take home from their food storage too! Do that like every other month! Makes shopping nice! Love them haha. We also met Ade! a 37 year old who served a mission in the Ivory Coast. He is born here in Maryland but parents came from Nigeria! He went to BYU after and apparently got offended by a few people from being racist! Couple professors who taught that black people are cursed and things haha. Nice to have a black companion so you don't have to answer during awkward moments like that haha. He still has a strong testimony but doesn't come to church every week. Comes occasionally to take the sacrament and leave but just thinks there is racism in the church and it is really sad! I think people in Utah and Idaho are pretty racist to be honest but they don't do it knowingly. It is a sad case but i don't know what to do! We will be going back cause he was cool and fun to talk too!
Tues, District Meeting again! It was fun and hopefully will stay on tuesday cause if not we won't get anything done on thursday's! Got dogged and then went to the Knights for FHW and it was good! It is fun and enjoyable but you just need like 5 hours to do it haha. We then went and helped a member do there's and got a lot done for her and think it will be fun to help people out with there's cause i think alot of member's here have a lot to do and need to go and get there parents work done for them! It will be a good tool for retention i think cause it really brings a powerful spirit with you! guess that is what you are supposed to get tho!
Happy Birthday Mara, sent a card out but think i put happy 21st on it haha love ya anyways.
my camera isn't charging! I am going to take it to Best Buy today and get it looked at but might have to get a new one. hope not! I will try to get shirts bought one of these days too but give me your sizes and i will send that Christmas package home haha. and the s-d card but i will prolly just go and buy a cheap one not a big 16 gig one so if you want one of those buy one and send it out to me. Let me know!
Thanks for all the support and everything you all do! I enjoyed your letter's this week! I would like to see if i can get Micah's address! he is the only one i haven't written of my friends on mission i think! And Wesley's if i could! I wonder if Micah has gained any weight haha.
Hope all is well at home! President Cooke should be fun! Pres. told us about him last thurs. Told us to pray for him! Need to remember to do that haha. I am terrible about remembering those i told i would pray for haha!

Hello Everyone! Wed, night we had a good lesson! I am back to the crazy d.c. people! Shawn is prolly messed up by drugs! But it was a really good lesson and a testimony that you can teach with anyone with the Spirit! It was strong and we had a good unity even with a member who tagged along too!
Thurs, we updated the area like crazy it seems like that is all we did this week! We didn't meet with really anyone but got a lot of stuff done. This area was a mess!
Fri, Did some service used a chainsaw haha felt weird! we did more updating today as well! Our map was soooo junky it was just terrible. We also met a couple of our investigators! Bria, who is 17 is prolly gonna get baptized soon but we shall see! Haven't had a lesson with her yet! Haven't had too many lessons with our investigators!
Sat, Had Ward Correlation with our WML who is the senior couple in the ward! Elder and Sister Knight! They are kinda like Mr. Robertson and some other just sweet lady. haha. It will be interesting to say the least. We met with an investigator Shuai! He is from China and doesn't have much religious background! we watched finding faith in Christ! He had lots of ?'s but can't really meet again till March cause of school but i think he will come around if he takes the time to read! We have gotten dogged alot this week!!
Sun, Updating after Church again! My comp prolly thinks that is all i do haha. Teaching records, things where you can see them, map updated with everyone on there, planning for people! Tedious things that take alot of time when they are not done right as soon as they are needed which had not happened. Big day of that for us today! Bishop Cropper is the Bishop in this ward and he knows LeRoy Stoor haha went to school with him and has been in Wayan haha i think that is a first person to have said they have been there! Super funny. going to have to talk more with him!
mon, we worked today!!! Picked up new people that will hopefully meet with us later in the week,! Had a sweet lesson with Darion and Shavez two 15 year old kids who want to get baptized for the right reasons!! Excited for them. Booker's had a little visit with! Sweet family who needs to come to church! Knight had us over for my Comp"s Birthday!!!  it was a good dinner!!! Then worked some more. Today seemed like the first time working all week haha! Was good day.
Tues, had interviews with Pres. in the morning. It was really fast and he just told me i am doing better so i hope i am. We started Family History Work today and i need all the information you can send me as soon as you can! So i can figure things out! PLEASE!!! We met with a less-active Larry Alston today and he is coming back to church so it will be good to help him. He seems committed so we shall meet with him every tuesday! We then had a Cottage Meeting which was a Ward FHE and it was excellent! I hope we have more!!!
I gotta be fast today sorry i will try to write everyone today but i need to write a lot of letters!
Felt like i needed more things but i will tell you next week! Try to write them down cause they never come! I am doing great tho. My companion is very obedient  It is funny how pride can come with obedience tho. He doesn't like to break the rules that he follows but he breaks other's that aren't important to him and then tries to correct me on the things i do wrong that he likes to follow haha. It will be fun with him but we will make it! He has helped me out alot and we have very different personality's but it will still work! I like him for who he is and i hope it is the same back! My District and Apartment are very weird people. It will be difficult for me but i guess i will manage!

Hi there! I got transferre'd this week! I am now in New Carrolton Ward. I am back in the apartment i was in in College Park! Tis going to be fun! I hate that apartment...it is the worst! My companion's name is Elder Appiah, he was trained by my good friend E. Furugen and now he is with E. Arnett haha kinda funny! Thank goodness i have dodged another transfer where i am not in leadership! Maybe i will be lucky to go my whole mission without having that! Guess we will see what Pres. has in store. Alot of changes happening here. Alot of new area's being added, we got a whole new Zone this transfer! Tis crazy!! Mission is going to grow and it will be fun to be apart of it. Tis really an exciting time to be a missionary!
Wed, We took Bradley Bridge out to see the kids and it was a really good lesson! We played Uno as well and taught Tithing to them. They will hopefully eventually get baptized but they will see...maybe i can go back for it!
Thurs, We had the best V.C. tour ever!! I don't know how many times i have said that but this one tops it all! Sis Aldridge gave us and Mary Green, a recently returning member who we were referred too! She has been reading the book of mormon and is finding out by herself that this is true again! We had the tour on BoM but it turned into how to help her life and it was really personal for Mary and it was just a great experience to be apart of. We had her read 3 Nephi before this and she told us her experience  It was powerful and pretty much just told her the book was true. We then got to watch the Testaments! Perfect movie for the experience she just had! Spirit was soo strong! We had David Sosa there with us as well. Rode up in her Mercedes benz..those car's are really nice. She then took us all out to eat too and it was good Mexican food!....We then me with Merri Maurer and Betty and had a really nice PoS lesson with them! It was a really spiritual lesson too! This day was just great!!!
Fri, We took the Chinese Elder's to Eric cause he can speak Chinese and wanted to go to the Chinese Branch. It was a hard lesson with him cause he just didn't seem to want to talk about the gospel. We were able to bring it back but was there a little longer than we should have been and Eric did end up going to the Chinese branch and liked it so he might be going there permanent but the Chinese Elder's don't really want to teach him so kinda a toss up situation. We then met with Nathan Struthers who is anti to a T. It is sad and we won't go back cause he is just not open to the spirit! Super sad but he is nice and maybe one day will know. Hard headed...we then took Carter Wonnacott a priest out with us and had a little lesson with a old investigator Marcus...David Sosa's friend! It was good. A review Restoration!
Sat, we helped move this part-member family back in the area and it was really good! Lasted for way to long but they needed our help and it was a work out! We were then out and about when Mark Getson called out my name and we went and walked and talked with him for a half hour! I like just to go out and walk...maybe it means i am getting old haha We met with Shannon Nanni again and taught the Law of Chastity. That is always a fun one haha. I love awkward moments but this one wasn't awkward so it was good! Hopefully she will be able to keep it with her new boyfriend who moved in her apartment house haha. We are teaching him tho now so hopefully nothing bad will happen!
Sun, Had the kids at church! Also Randall-Shannon's boyfriend! and then Eric went to the Chinese Branch and Mary Green came and stayed for the whole thing! I have loved this area because people have come to church! That has been my hardest thing is to get people to come to church and they are coming. Now i have to leave it. Also our Ward Mission Leader hasn't been really good and we told Bishop and he got us a new one, and now i have to leave. haha Kinda sad because this has definitely been my favorite ward! We then taught the kids and we gave them each a priesthood blessing. Those are fun to give! We had a really good meeting with the new Ward Mission Leader and it was good. He is going to be awesome!
Mon, We had a good meeting with a sweet family. Peter and Matilda Eyong! They are from Cameroon and it was a good meeting. They understood really good but had a hard time understanding that they would have to be baptized again...maybe they will get it from the Spirit! Twas a good find for us cause they seem like they are trying to do the best they can and if they embrace this gospel it will be a huge asset to the Ward! We also taught the PoS with Eric and brought Ben Blanco a priest out again! It was really good and glad Ben was there! He is a good kid who has a strong testimony. He will be a good Elder someday! Then tonight was call-outs...found out i was leaving and everyone else was staying! While we were hugging people goodnight...I always have tackled someone on my bed for a while and this time my bed frame was sticking out and Elder Roma got his leg cut open pretty bad. Had to go to the hospital at 10 30 at night and didn't get home till 2. It was bad haha. Not much sleep even tho we slept in. He got 6 stiches and it went clear to the bone in his shin ouchy! He is a good friend of mine so no hard feelings but i have him a reminder of me for the rest of his life haha. a nice scar!
Tues, Said goodbye to the Shaffer's! I will see them again for sure! They are really awesome people who you all will have to meet when we come out here! We then had a good V.C. Trip with Mark Wagner. A 20 year old investigator. We did family history work and did a tour on the Restoration, watched the Joesph Smith movie and had a really humbling experience in the Night of Music and Inspiration. We were there for like 4 hours haha. Spiritual Feast!!! Mary Green came for the Music thing and left halfway in between cause she was just crying too much! It was good for her. It was all on Christ! Super powerful!
Wed, here i am and having to leave this ward! Dang! I really really wished i could have stayed but i guess it is what it is and i will prolly like it here!
I got mail from Mara, Emma, Parker, Shawn and the stake today haha. Twas a good day! Will have to go and write letter's now. Only problem when you get mail haha. Will try to write Meg today too but we will see!
One good thing is that i get to go to the Heath's again!!! I love them and am grateful for the chance to be back!

Thurs, We had District Meeting and i was asked to give a workshop on pride. Well we have a binder Pres. gave us with some talks from Ezra T. Benson and Uchdorf on Pride. Tis good go and read them. I feel like Pride is the bane of us all and we have to have a conscious effort battling against it! Everyone said it was really good and i actually really enjoyed giving it! we then Weekly Planned and then took a priest out...Carter Wonnacott! Tis a good kid. we didn't teach anyone really, but we talked with a l.a. guy who Carter knows and actually got him to come to church!!! tony Alverez is 19 and says he wants to be on a mission come May but i think he better start to come to church before that haha. While at church he was invited to give the next Gospel Principles lesson so that will be good! We then met with Mary Green and had a good convo with her. She is a really good lady with a good heart and is just seeking for the truth again. She remembers that she had a testimony and is starting to find it again! She came to church as well!
Fri, Went to the V.C. with the Shaffer's and had a really good lesson by Sis Brown and Sis Balls-(sis balls went to snake river and i know i have seen her before haha...the enemy tho haha) It was on faith and miracles happening! Spirit was strong and it was still strong into the Joesph Smith Movie in the big theater by ourselves again!!! Twas good but Scott is really stubborn and told us later he just doesn't want spiritual stuff anymore! Tis my best friend tho and it is his birthday today!!! We then had a lesson with a new investigator Mark! He is 20 and is kinda seeking. we will hopefully be able to teach him lots but he was cheesy the time before according to the teaching record but i think i would be cheesy as well if Goodman was after me. we then gave a Member a blessing. Bro Harris! He is a good guy who is just going to Africa and wanted a blessing before he went! we then had a good dinner with the Wonnacotts!! Some cool food from some country that was really good haha forgot the name of them but they were good and they were balls haha. We then played basketball up at the church and i am just out of shape haha.
Sat, V.C. again this time with Eric. Really good lesson on the Gospel of J.C. and Joesph Smith movie to start off. He was really happy to be there i think and accepted a b-day for March 3 so that will be good! We then had a really good first lesson with Shannon and Randall! Randall has been coming to church for like 8 weeks and we are finally able to start teaching him. We didn't want to push him but this lesson was super powerful and he felt it i am sure! Just going to see if he will be able to stop smoking when we get to that point haha. Good guy tho. We then met with a couple of members, Bob Hoover had us over for pizza and a good talk and then Opoku's had us over for a good talk and his wife accepted to have the lessons so we will hopefully be able to baptize her and her 9 year old!
Sun, Had Church! surprise surprise but no accidents this week like last week. We had a super awesome lesson afterwards with an eternagator. PMG style with him not talking much and then hit him to pray right then and there. Spirit was strong i thought but he is just not open to it. Said it himself. Just loves the Catholic Church too much and has the pride that comes with it. Dang It! Super nice fellow. Like him alot. We then had dinner with the Shaffer's and did sneak a quick peek at the game before we left haha. oops. Sounds like it was a good one and next year i will be watching the whole thing!!!
Mon, did some updating in the morning and got alot done. We then went out and tried to work but our investigator didn't show up and prolly will drop him. Markus...but did meet with David and he didnt' come to church. Now for 4 weeks in a row. I am worried about him alot. I just hope he gets it figured out soon...We then met with a guy tonight...his name is Nathan Stuthers. He is super anti'ed but still open to it. Told us all about the endowment session and how one guy went a-wall because of it. Kinda sad but guess that is what happens. We will try again. He reminds me of Scott Shaffer. Really cool guy but just can't seem to get it. but we will see.
Tues, Zone Training today..had to redo-my workshop. ZL's tried to pump me all up cause they really liked it at district meeting and it was really good again i thought and luckily Pres wasn't there cause i would have just been nervous haha. I still don't like to stand up in front of people and i don't think i will ever get over it. Everyone said it was good. But i think they always do. We then had a good meeting with Sis Shelton. Haven't seen her in a while but seen her at church here and there. She is awkward and likes to keep to herself but i guess i know what that is like. We then got dogged a lot and saw Eric and watched Finding Faith in Christ! Twas good and read Alma 32! I think he is going to get it! I hope so! I think he will be baptized just if he continues the way he is doing. He speaks Chinese and i hope we don't have to move him to them but we will see...We also saw the Simmon's family tonight! They had a cool experience with there daughter at school. Her teacher started to ask ?'s and asked for a book of mormon to make a long story short! hopefully we can teach the teacher haha!
Wed, Today was Temple day and i did baptisms today!! Got baptized and did baptizing! It was really a good experience. Also got to do confirmations. I might be doing more of those. The Spirit there was super duper strong! We then played basketball! Had a good time.
I am happy that next week are transfers i really don't like my comp either haha. we are doing okay and working it out but i think it is what you said about us kids. I have never felt as if i can get along with people my own age. He is just kinda still in the stuck up high school mode and thinks he is always right and is the best teacher. It is sometimes just annoying and there is no way to even try to tell him. but next week will hopefully bring something new. Maybe i should move to Colton's mission and just go be comps with him...tell Jesus about it haha jk.
There are just sometimes when it feels like i just do the same thing day after day and nothing happens. It is starting to go by really really fast now.
I will try to write Megan soon, and also will try to send a letter to Breanne.  I am really excited for her and know she will be great! did you get out of them what mission? I have friend who is a sister who is from Japan and has lots of friends serving...could put in a good word for her ahead of time haha.
Life is just crazy, hope everything at home is good and i love and miss you guy's alot!!!
