Well Hello!
Wed, Well we just happened to get dogged all night! Bro Chheng invited us over to talk with him. I don't know if i told ya but he is 33 and just found out he has cancer! Crazy! We have given him a blessing and he is taking it really good. Trying to keep his spirituality up so that is what is important. We talked mostly about military stuff and i just don't think i ever want to go into that! Not for me. I like Bro Chheng alot and it is hard to see him go through this but i think it will make him a better person and the doctor's are optimistic but i think that is their job haha.

Thurs, Today we Weekly planned and just had a good day! Every person wasn't there for their appointment! Dang it! We did help a lady in the ward with some service. We just packed some things up 3 flights of stairs haha. Twas fun and we got pie out of it! I also went to Staple's cause we needed some things for the area and i got my PMG cut and hole punched so it is in a binder! Really nice! I have enjoyed studies alot with that! This transfer we have been reading PMG and doing the activities and some of the activity's are really good. One on a warning voice in Exzeikel? haha i can't spell i don't read the Bible that much haha...but it said that if we don't warn people their sins are on our heads...think about that one!

Fri, This morning we went to Bro Lackomyj's and helped him with some electrical work in his house! Next week we are going do be going out to lunch and doing some more!!! I like doing house work! Kinda wierd Mom i know...We then saw Eric finally! He said his phone got wet so it isn't working the greatest now...don't really buy that but said he had been reading the BoM and taking notes on what he read and summarizing what he read! Spirit was strong...we talked about needing to meet more and how to prepare for baptism and the need for it! set up a time to come back the next day but on Sat he texted and dropped us! Said he was too much into the streets for this! Dang it all the heck! We then stopped by an active member and found out her husband is not a member and he is an apostle in another church! Nice guy but wanted to bash with us! Freak! He asked us about whether we believed that Christ was crucified today and i said it didn't really matter on what day it happened...some logic on Christ rising on the 3rd day and 3rd night...i don't know where is says night but i didn't want to bring it up. Anyways he is going to show us a scripture about re-incarnation from the King James Version of the Bible and how John the Baptist is really Elijah or Elias who has come back haha. Can't wait until he finds that scripture! We also visited the Booker's today! Tried to get them to come to church! Didn't work! I don't' know what to do with them!

Sat, We got a call from our Zl's this morning and said we were there last hope and needed to go and help someone move! So we did, guy couldn't speak English and took us a while to find the place but finally got there and helped them move. Spoke French so will be sending the French speaker's by! We then went to our Elder's Quorum Pres..Bro Howell and helped him sand his floor. We were there for like 5 hours haha. Rest of our apts cancelled and he needed our help still so it was fun to sand his floor. Used some muscles i didn't know i had and had fun doing it! working on houses again! We then took Bro Chheng up to a V.C. concert! He brought his non-member sister along and she was inquisitive so maybe something there! It was some sibling concert. Really good playing the piano for being 8 and 11! They were on the Jay Leno show not too long ago i guess! Move there finger's that it for sure! Twas a good day!

Sun, It was a good program at church today! All around the resurrection  Twas a good Easter Sunday! We contacted a refferal today! Said to come back next week! YES! We had a dinner apt with Sis Jackson this evening and it was super super good! She has an amazing testimony! Near death experience don't remember how she tied that in with getting her testimony but after a while the Elder's knocked on her door and she read the whole book of Mormon is two weeks and called them back haha! Man those lucky guys'! Super spiritual spiritual thought on Christ too! Did the Christ Puzzle! Works every time!

Mon, we had a lesson with Ms. Bramwell today! Man it was super good! She really wants to find out that this is true! She has a sincere desire i believe. Isn't really going to church lately so we are going to watch the last session of General Conference at Sis Jackson's hopefully! It was a super good review lesson on what she knew already and we will be giving her everything she needs soon! Super excited for her! She is going to cut my hair too! Oh yeah! We then went to find a member Dillon who is 15 and hasn't come to church lately and found them playing football-his dad. So we played some football in our suits! Twas very fun and then he took us out to eat! We spent the rest of the night prolly 3-4 hours haha. He has some really big problems with going through a divorce and some other things he has done in his life! He went through the temple tho and i believe he remember's but just doesn't want to admit it! He likes to do Marital Arts tho and taught us a couple of moves! Told him to read Alma 32 and "none were with him" talk my Elder Holland! Maybe someday he will come around!

Tues, We went to Claire's a 85 year old investigator of the sister's who we helped last week when it snowed! She gave us all of her deceased husband's ties for helping! haha Perfect! She is really cool and is one of those old people who thinks everything and everyone is out to get her haha. Super funny! We then went to the college campus and did a booth with the district! Too many cute girls wearing tight pants there! It was fun to try and talk with people tho! Really hard to get college people to stop too! Got a # or too and left! We then had a good rest of the day driving around these HUGE houses finding a couple of less-actives. I don't think i want a house as big as those! Man... We then met with Paul a guy we picked up through g-q'ing and it was his birthday! Talked with him for 5 min and prayed and going to be talking about the Plan of Salvation first! Super cool guy who has alot of potential right now!

Wed, we played soccer today! It was tons of fun! I like soccer alot! Scored 3 goals! OH Yeah! went and bought some Chirstmas Shirts for you guy's haha! Happy Birthday presents too!!! HAHA Happy Birthday Shelb and good job at the program i hear Meg.

Hello! Wed, was a really good night these first couple of days me and my comp got to know each other well and i really love this kid! I think he is having a good time too but i am prolly hard to be with! We started off well by teaching an older lady who was cutting this person's hair. Had a good first lesson and sent a refferal! Except for the fact that we didn't have a BoM on us haha horrible missionary i am for not having that on me. Transfer day just screws you up haha.

Thurs, We did some Weekly Planning and moved the whole room around and i like it alot better. I started to try to keep my desk clean so i can use it. lol. It is a mess sometimes. Most of the time but that means i use it right haha. We got dogged all day but we were able to contact 2 refferals today! This has been a really good refferal area. This week we contacted 11 which is what i do in a transfer usually! Super cool but alot of them don't want to meet but we give them the BoM and Resto pamphlet and tell them to call us if they have ?'s so that is all we really can do. Just have to leave it in their hands! Also this transfer the whole mission is reading through PMG and it will take 2 transfer's! It has been really good. PMG is a cool tool and really helps you have the Spirit if you read it. Kinda a modern day scripture. Good for both the missionary and the member!

Fri, We did alot of service today! It was fun. Fixed two gates for a member. That kinda took me home a little bit. Not the same kind of gates we have but same concept. My comp is a city boy tho haha. Embarrassed me cause he didn't know how to run a drill haha. We then went to the Library and put books back on the shelf again. Twas fun. We then met with Bria and read through Ether 12 and told her to get her answer and we said we would get a ride to church. Ended up dropping her but story latter. We also met with Darion and Shavez and their Mom this time. It was super good! her mom just didn't get her concern answer'ed by missionary's and hopefully we can at some point. We then had a super cool member take us to Golden Corral! I was soooooo stuffed it wasn't funny. Super good. The member is an old converted Baptist who talks like a southern baptist preacher. It was great to talk with him. He also spoke in sacrament meeting on Sunday and it was a really good sermon haha. Got into his talk alot! Best part is when he blesses the sacrament. He does it with really good emotion in his voice! Bro Cummings is the best!

Sat, We met with Bria in the morning and talked about Ether 12 it was good and she came to church! We then taught Shuai! He is a cool asian guy who can't meet with us often but has a ton on ?'s and just doesn't stop asking and they are really good. He is not a Christian at the moment but we are explaining it too him and it is really hard. Changes things when they have no background  We then had the Ward Blitz and i went with Bro Gish who is a stake y.m. pres. He likes to talk but it was good to be out with a member. Checked on 7 less-actives and it was a good time! We then contacted a couple of refferals and had a good rest of the day! Fun to get dogged on a dinner apt by a member!!!! Sheesh haha.

Sun, church was good! We then had a really good lesson with a person named James. He turned out to have some anti-material but i think he thought we were smart and didn't want to bash with us so that was good. But wasn't interested...hopefully he will read the BoM tho said he was still curious at learning about us. We then had a dinner apt. with the Barker's that was fun except when she breast fed at the table right after we were done eating...man my wife will never do that in public. it is so gross. They are a fun family tho and it was a good meal. Said i liked corn beef alot and i am wondering if i am sinning when i tell member's i like there food when i know there is a better way to cook beef haha. Don't want to sound like i am complaining, cause it really was a good time to be with them.

Mon, we dropped Bria today! haha Until she calls us. She has been taught a ton and she just needs to repent and change. Until that happens we prolly won't come by. Love it when people know but then just don't want to change. Maybe someday...we had DM in the morning. Twas fun. did a workshop on rev. through the BoM...it really is the greatest tool to convert people. We shoveled snow for the sister's 85 year old inv. she told us to come back and get some ties! We will!!! We went to lunch with a super cool member! Sister Munu. She has been baptized for a year and half. Missionaries felt prompted to knock on her door. Super cool story. She then had a dream which had a ton of people in it wear her mom spoke to her and told her that they had all been waiting for her! She is done alot of Family History work since then! Super cool testimony! We met with a less-active lady who likes the older couple better haha. good tho cause she fell through the cracks when the old senior couple went home. we then met with Adama tonight. Stupid Heat game was on and it was tempting to watch it. too tempting. I miss basketball...but she has read the BoM alot and her dad told her no on getting baptized :( we told her about Nephi's faith going to get the plates and things and hopefully she will be able to persuade her father.

Tues, We got dogged twice today!!! two apts too! We found a sweet new investigator tho. Michael is his name! He is going to be a great leader soon if he gets his answer! Super good miracle lesson! We will seem him after the Holy Week. his anniversary is on Easter too so i guess we can understand haha. He explained how the Spirit works perfectly at the end when we asked him how he can find out that this is true. I hope to get him baptized this transfer! Super awesome guy! We also met with a less-active guy. J.R. is his name. His dad is in and out of church. Vary's when he comes. Sounds like the mom died of cancer couple years ago and when that happened everyone kinda quit going. His mom sounded like she had a bomb testimony. Hopefully we will see him at church again. Said Mormon church will always be the true one...well quit going to your baptist church haha.

Wed, We played football on the mall after going in for a lame sunrise and played football for like 7 hours haha. I am too fat for this...i am super duper sore but really excited for the Cherry Blossom's next week!!!! :)

Wed, I love the Heath's and am glad i am staying in the area so i can keep going to them, every wednesday!!! We got dogged tonight but was able to pick up a couple potentials and pass a refferal so tis a good night of tracting!

Thurs, We went to the Dentist again! My comp lost a filling. I am scared to go to the Dentist when i get home haha. Might be a pretty penny. We taught Eric today! This guy is sweet. He understood it all. Has a Christian background. Says he wants to learn all about Christ so he can teach his son! Awesome to see that even here there are some parents who want to do good! We gave him a Baptism date, found out later that it is his birthday! April 21! I am super excited and think he is going to be good! I can't wait to be a dad. Sometimes it is brought up by the old people that our greatest conversion investigators we will ever have will be our kids! It will be fun! We then went to the Temple tonight for Rosemary Simms! Awesome experience to be able to be in the Temple with someone you taught alot! We taught her alot on how to prepare for the temple and it was cool to see how prepared she was! I love her alot and was really glad i could get to be there!

Fri, We met with Bro Alston in the morning and had a really good talk with him. He is into video games and technology and showed us a couple of cool things. I am not going to know what to do with all the tech stuff when i get home! Not going to be able to work a computer things have changed alot haha. We also did service with the sister's today at the library! It was alot of fun putting books back on the shelf and just a time for the mind to relax for a little bit! We also met with Bria and the Thoerigs! It was a really really good meeting on Faith! How to do it and how to gain a testimony! She pretty much told us she was doing it all for us and not for her and so we gave her the ultimatum. Do it for yourself or future missionary's will come back haha. One of the best lessons i have been in tho. Super spiritual and was a good meeting. Each of us shared our conversion stories and then challenged her to do it! only time will tell!

Sat, Had correlation and then did service. Cleaned up a garage for a member! I can't wait to have a house. I miss being able to do around the house things, it is kinda fun. Prolly annoying when you have to do it all the time but fun when you don't! He took us out to lunch and then we went to dinner haha. I was stuffed! The Berg's had us over for another nerdy dinner talk! Super nerdy. I can't follow conversations my comp has had with people sometimes. Video games and all this other stuff. did learn that if you build your own computer, you can get one that would cost like 3000 for 1200! Gonna remember that! We then took Bro Fisher out with us to no help. Couldn't get an appointment to hold but we finally went to a member's house and had a good lesson on Christ! Read Mosiah 3 first like 13 verses. They are really sweet! Tell us all the Savior did in a nutshell pretty much! Sis Langley has a cool story/testimony of overcoming cancer and being happy still!

Sun, Church was pretty good not as good as it has been. I don't remember much from what happened right now. We checked on a couple people to no avail  then went to a less active family and taught them more family history! My comp did it all and i just kinda relaxed and talked with the 9 year old haha. We then went to "Why I Believe and took Eric and Bria! It was super good. Those are always spiritual and really good for missionary work cause it is just powerful to hear a recent convert's testimony!

Mon, we met with Alfred after District Meeting! He had a cousin or something like that here from the UK and we taught them a sloppy restoration lesson and answered their ?'s! She wants to have missionary's over so we passed a refferal to the UK!!!! Yeah buddy! And going to go back and teach Alfred whose concern is being baptized again! See if we can get him! We then had FH and Stromsdorfer's dinner! They both served their mission's in Colombia! Kinda a cool connection! He served in Cali in 95-97 and she served in Bogata 98-99 i think! She came in after they let North American's back in and he is form Peru so went there when white people couldn't go there! It was kinda cool to talk with them about Colombia. Don't really remember much from talking with you Dad tho haha. They gave me this waffle cone with caramel in it for desert! Remember those? We then went to the V.C. with Bro Alston! Was really good movie then we had to get home for call outs and found out i am staying and E.Appiah is leaving! Crazyness.

Tues, We packed and went to Sis Mays then Family History then more packing then Bro Chheng took us to the Cottage Meeting and taught a good lesson and played a fun game. Not very many people showed up but oh well! Then Bro. Chheng gave me a haircut. Lookin good now! I love Bro Chheng so much! I have alot of respect for this man and hope someday i can be as cool and chill as he is! He is working on his testimony now and it is just fun to work with him and answer his ?'s!

Wed, E. Loveless is my new comp!! He is from Bountiful, Utah! Pretty cool kid! I like him so far and think it is going to be really fun to be with him!

Wed, we had to stay in cause of the storm...kinda funny cause our Zl's sent a call out to go out at 6:02 and we got it at 8:40 haha too late stupid phones!
Thurs, Zone Training in the morning and it was really good. Did a role play on finding and i feel like that is my strength in missionary work is being able to talk to people! I never had a problem with it once i get in the hang of it! It is weird being one of the older one's cause everyone is freaking going home! Craziness but as long as i stay out of leadership i will be happy haha. It changes people for the worst i think and i don't want it to happen to me.We then had Family History and it is frustrating to me sometimes because there is no delete button. Think i will just screw things up more than help them haha. We then took a member with us and had a couple of good appointments. First with Bro Alston a member who is coming back to church! We talked about life and how to prepare for the priesthood! Super cool lesson for me as well for him! We then met a crazy guy who my companion doesn't want to go back and visit. He texted us some colorful text messages afterwards! Prolly won't see him again.
Fri, We got dogged haha most of the day till we had Bria at night! She opened up talking about random stuff and then when we turned it into a lesson she brought her concern out and she doesn't want to repent!!!! Freak!!! well we fasted with her on Sunday and she now has a date for March 31!!! Super excited for her! We then got dogged again but picked up some potentials today!!
Sat, We had a breakfast/to play basketball with our priest who we have taken out alot and he is going back to Missouri to his family so it was a sinanara meeting! Fun to play with him. We then had Ward Correlation and it was a okay meeting. Sometimes meetings in the church just seem pointless sometimes but guess you do them cause without them you wouldn't get anything done! We met with Adama today! She is 17 and we have kinda been meeting with them...mostly before i got here. Finally got to meet again and she has read quiet a bit of the BoM and wants to get baptized! Super cool! March 31 for her too! Boostin the Y.W. in this ward haha. Hopefully we can get their family's to meet with us too soon!
Sun, Super cool Church today! I just seem to like church now. Have not really before so it has been really good for me! Figuring it more out and my testimony is growing! We met with Lawrena with the Knights after Church and it was a really good meeting. Had the cups object lesson. Really helpful to help people understand that this is truly Christ's Church! I think it helps me to stay focus too so good for multiple things! We then had Dinner tonight with Sis Holder who is a good friend of Rosemary Simms in the College Park Ward! I don't know if you remember her or not but i got there after she had been re-activated and helped her a lot! She was one of my favorites there! And President gave me permission to be there when she goes through the Temple on Thursday Night!!!!!!!! sUper excited! It is going to be great! Feels good! We then gave a blessing to a sweet member who is having surgery yesterday haha need to text him see how it went! Bro Chheng is super sweet! He will prolly give me a haircut soon haha! Need one again!
Mon, Had District Meeting and had a good role play with just Elder Knight! Talked about the sacrament a lot and i still don't fully understand how it works. I know everything pretty much but i like to really understand how it works so it takes a lot of scriptures that i am not really good at finding yet! Love it tho and we had a really good talk about it! We then had FH again! Then met with a new investigator that has a really deep voice! Makes me sound like a girl! James, he is a Muslim and just wants to learn. Christian churches just don't get it with the Trinity...well i hope that he comes to find out. He believes in Jesus Christ and kinda confused with the Muslim faith on him not being the Savior but i am really excited for him! We also met with Matt! He is a school teacher and had a good talk with him about the WoW! He knew about it a little bit but it was just really a good talk and he is going to read the BoM over Spring Break! Lets hope!
Tues, Taught two lessons today! Teresa who we tracted into! I didn't talk much in this one and my comp did a good job! He taught well but when we get into subjects that are not in our lessons i am no help at all! Twas good tho and we will see her next week! She and her husband are minister's haha. Pretty smart! We then met with Kemo! 17 year old kid! Guess what! Put him on date for April 14!! haha got 3 17 year olds on date! Fun to work with them! Hurry up and get them baptized before they turn into YSA's haha! He is a good humble kid who is spiritual person! So hopefully he will read from the Book of Mormon and feel that spirit! It was a good day!
Today we went to the Temple and did baptisms again! Super fun! We will all have to go do baptisms when i get home! I don't think we ever did that as a family...yet.
Gonna try to send me s-d card today in a letter to Mara! Will send it to the home address cause maybe she will still be there! I might not be able to get it copied onto my hardrive so there isn't much pictures on them cause i am a slacker haha. Try to start to make more now that i got the battery charger for it cause i haven't been able to take pics for about 3 months haha.

Wed, We met with a less-active who is strugling right now. Bro Onyukeckwe. Life is hard and sometimes people just want to vent to us and it is kinda annoying but i guess we have to listen. We managed to get in a little Restoration lesson this time but it is hard when people talk alot!! Then we got home and about 11:30...i was out cold...our roommates ceiling fell in. There was a pipe that broke and we were up till like 1 getting there stuff out of there. Most of e. Chapman's stuff got wet but i think he will live.
Thurs, we did service for a member. Sis Frailman. Her husband recently died and she is now an elderly widow. We tore apart her old picnic table for her. My companion might have had a little too much fun with that haha. He has kinda a nerdy/destruction mentality and trying to think who to compare him too but can't think of it. He loves to read and has read a ton and reads the Old Testament at night. I just can't bring myself right now to read that haha. Too big and confusing. Maybe when i get back i will start to read it but not on my mission. I have had a good expierence lately with the book of mormon and just deciding to mark my scriptures. It helps alot and i am beginging to feast again. Get in swings. We then got Weekly Planning done and went to Family History. I love the Knights and i am learning a ton but they teach us like old people. I just want to go and do it!!! But i am still learning how it all works out. Found A.C.'s name on there and thought that was funny. We then met with Shavez and had a good lesson with him. Brought Bro Fisher along too and taught him the first bit of the gospel! I think he will get baptized if he starts to come to church! I can't tell how sincere he is tho. We then met with an awesome member! Bro Chheng! He is from Cambodia but grew up here and joined when he was 11. Hasn't been coming to church very much and wants to get back into the swing of things. Going to finish the BoM this year and go to the Temple! And he is a funny guy! Good lesson with him and Bro Fisher as well! Just about how to live life the best!
Fri, we went and had a good day of mainly checking on people! We then brought Bro and Sis Theorig along to a lesson with Bria! They will be her home teacher's after she gets baptized! It was a struggle of a lesson kinda but ended up being not bad when Bria told us what she learned. Taught the gospel and Atonement. Already taught her everything and we asked her who Jesus Christ was and she said Idk...super embarrasing! we then met with an investigator who is really cool. Jide and Sylane! They are married but i guess have had alot of challenges! It was just fun to talk to them. From Jide it sounds like the world world is going for the worst. Mission life is okay now tho but guess it is getting scary and wonder if it is from Obama...woops i didn't say that.
Sat, We met with Bro Fisher and Lawrena. It was a hard meeting cause her husband is Muslim and it creates a rift between them cause she is Christian but will prolly go to Muslim cause that what's she was before. We set up a time to come back so we will see how it goes. We then had a good Ward Correlation Meeting with the Knights and Sister's! Then Met with Shavez and helped him set up a thing for FamilySearch! It was really good. guess they fixed it now but recently they just opened up FamilyTree on familysearch open to the world now. We had to go through a process to get one for Shavez but if we woulda had patience we wouldn't have had to go through all the work! Oh well! We also met a cool recent convert. Rodrigo and his mom have only been member's for 6 months. Rodrigo is 12 and when you talk to him he seems like he is 20! Super strong testimony too. He is going to be a really good missionary someday!
Sun, Church was great adn so was our no appointment day! Full of finding and we picked up a new investigator! Matt! He is a school teacher for 3rd grader's and works with a mormon! It was a super good first meeting with him! I hope for good things for him! He is white too haha it is wierd! and he was a potential from tracting before i got here. he better get baptized!
Mon, We finally put our apartment back together in the morning! It was good to have all the stuff back in the rooms. We also put all 4 beds in one room so we can each have our study room! I think it is a better set up! We then went and did a booth with our District up on Maryland's campus and there is way to many pretty girls up there. No one wants to stop and talk and it was kinda fun and weird. We got a total of like 15 names for 2 hours and i think i got like 6 of them haha. Some missionaries just don't G-Q right. Lots of awkward moments when you try to talk to a cute girl and all she does is smile at you. College will be fun tho ;]. On the way back i was walking in the back like normal and we all walked by these two tall cute black girls. They stopped us and we had a really good 10 min. convo with them and they gave us there info we gave them a book of mormon and then Didi one of them said i want to pray for you brother's! Okay shoot!!! Well she then proceeds to put her hand right above my elbow and didn't touch anyone else. It was a little awkward and to make things worse my ZL, Elder Julander who came out with me but he is Spanish did it on the other side and started to rub it haha. Oh boy it was a really good prayer tho! She then says Amen and hugs all of us haha me first! and the other one did too haha. They will be baptized now because we didn't reject a hug from them! They are super cool tho and really seeking for the Spirit and felt it there! Just a little too fun for me haha. We were then on exchange and i was with Elder Snow in the Glendale Singles area.. Horrible driver i thought i was going to die. and super awkward. He is like my comp except the fact that my comp tries to be nice and is. but the nerdy thing like him. Claims he doesn't have social skills but that is the lamest excuse ever! Man it was just a bad day to be with him. We get to our appointment who they tracted into. Turns out the lady only invited us to come back cause she has a 19 year old sister from the Dominican Republic who is super cute! And she is a member! Don't think she has the best of testimony's but taught her a good lesson and then she came to the Family Home Evening activity! We played Volleyball with the Ward! It was super fun! I like to play volleyball! I like it alot! Good thing we were around member's because i would have gone crazy with Elder Snow. and not a good thing cause there were some good looking member's too. My heart is locked, but i still have eyes haha. and i hate looking at people who just have that hormonal look in there eyes haha. Gonna be a different expierence single wards are! My comp had a good day in the area! Noobed one of our potentials too! YAY!!!
Tues, We went and dropped all of our potentials we haven't been able to contact! Then went to sister May's! She called one of my good friend missionary's who went home and talked with him on speaker phone with another elder! He then said the prayer on the food through the phone haha! Super funny! Elder Mataele! We then went and checked on our Refferals cause we actually have 4!!! First area where other missionary's are giving me something! didn't talk to them haha hopefully next time! We went to Family History and had a good lesson! This is where i found Grandma Langston! need to attach her to the tree! Grandma Lucas is just messed up haha. Dad's family tree is confusing and i don't think his grandparents are right but not sure. Prolly not going to do much to it till i get home and talk with you haha. We then went to the Visitor's Center with Bro Chheng! He is soo cool! Really good tour by sis Holt! I love people who can joke and feel the spirit really strong too and that is what Bro Chheng is! Always good to watch the Joesph Smith movie but i have seen it like 50 times haha. Get something out of it everytime haha kinda like a scripture movie! fun night with him tho that is for sure!
Wed, had Zone activity and i like to play soccer but i am not very good at it haha. and ping pong but i lost alot and don't like that yet. I dont' think it is going to be very good storm but they are telling us to stay in and do weekly planning so don't worry about me! Stupid Maryland driver's and weather cause it prolly won't be very bad!

Wed, I love the Heath's! They have us over for dinner every Wed night!!! They are the best! We gave two blessings today! Sis Moss and Sis Leach! It is a humbling experience to do those and i have given a ton recently!
Thurs, We had DM today! It was a good one except for the fact that i am in the weirdest district ever! My comp fits right in and i think thinks this is the best district ever! We did Family History today too and it was a good experience! I really need all the stuff you got on people or give me your log in for family search and let me go on your's haha! We met a cool less-active who wants us to come back! Jerry Seper! He is an older man who hasn't been to church in 20+ years. Hopefully we can change that and his non-member wife ;] Also met some crazier less actives Nickels fam. Think drugs messed them up! Virginia who is like 78 started to sing about Jesus loving children to us haha. Kinda funny but also sad in a way but don't really know what happened! They don't come to church cause they don't have a ride and i don't think any one in the ward remember's them!
Fri, Had a meeting with Adeyemi! in the morning! He referred himself form mormon.org! That is a good website. We taught him the first lesson and told him to read Moroni 10 and pray about it! He did later and said he felt good and not a complete answer yet! but it comes little by little and i think he will get it! Came from Nigeria last month! Says he thinks God is leading him to something here in the U.S.! Might be a cool story at the end if he finds this out! We then talked with a less-active about life or in other words this less-active talked for an hour haha. Brother Godfrey Onyujeckway or something of sorts. we then had a lesson with the Knights! Senior couple! Bria an investigator! She seemed like she didn't want to talk at the very beginning but by the end of the lesson she seemed to warm up! She is 17 and the 5 different people in the ward called us this week about her baptism! Had to push it back but i think it is still going to happen and hopefully this transfer! Also took Ify Ibe a less active person on splits to a less active family the Bookers! Ify committed them to come to church! well it got Ify there haha!
Sat,Today we had 5 apt! haha all of them dogged haha. But we made an apt today and it held for that evening! Nde Ibe who is Iffy's non-member brother. Only non-member in a less active family except the father who works in the temple every week haha go figure! It was a good plan of salvation lesson! spirit was there! I have good hopes for him!
Sun, Church was really good! I seem to be getting alot out of Elder's quorum lately! I have really really gotten into the lesson's! i think it might mean i am getting old haha. jk. We taught Shavez and Darion the P.o.S. and compared it too a football game! it was a fun lesson and i think they understood it! we then got dogged and had a good rest of the night checking on people.
Mon, It was a good day! We picked up a potential Mary thru tracting! My goodness it finally worked for one time haha. It was right after a less active slammed the door in our face! Man i love pissing people off sometimes haha. we met with a new member...lived here since June but haven't gotten ahold of her and she went to the wrong ward this last week! Think she just got settled and is ready for church again! Sis Ross is her name! 2 kids and we took Bro Gish along with us! Bro Gish took us out to dinner just before that! he is in the Stake Y.M. and is super cool! They gave us a ton of food to take home from their food storage too! Do that like every other month! Makes shopping nice! Love them haha. We also met Ade! a 37 year old who served a mission in the Ivory Coast. He is born here in Maryland but parents came from Nigeria! He went to BYU after and apparently got offended by a few people from being racist! Couple professors who taught that black people are cursed and things haha. Nice to have a black companion so you don't have to answer during awkward moments like that haha. He still has a strong testimony but doesn't come to church every week. Comes occasionally to take the sacrament and leave but just thinks there is racism in the church and it is really sad! I think people in Utah and Idaho are pretty racist to be honest but they don't do it knowingly. It is a sad case but i don't know what to do! We will be going back cause he was cool and fun to talk too!
Tues, District Meeting again! It was fun and hopefully will stay on tuesday cause if not we won't get anything done on thursday's! Got dogged and then went to the Knights for FHW and it was good! It is fun and enjoyable but you just need like 5 hours to do it haha. We then went and helped a member do there's and got a lot done for her and think it will be fun to help people out with there's cause i think alot of member's here have a lot to do and need to go and get there parents work done for them! It will be a good tool for retention i think cause it really brings a powerful spirit with you! guess that is what you are supposed to get tho!
Happy Birthday Mara, sent a card out but think i put happy 21st on it haha love ya anyways.
my camera isn't charging! I am going to take it to Best Buy today and get it looked at but might have to get a new one. hope not! I will try to get shirts bought one of these days too but give me your sizes and i will send that Christmas package home haha. and the s-d card but i will prolly just go and buy a cheap one not a big 16 gig one so if you want one of those buy one and send it out to me. Let me know!
Thanks for all the support and everything you all do! I enjoyed your letter's this week! I would like to see if i can get Micah's address! he is the only one i haven't written of my friends on mission i think! And Wesley's if i could! I wonder if Micah has gained any weight haha.
Hope all is well at home! President Cooke should be fun! Pres. told us about him last thurs. Told us to pray for him! Need to remember to do that haha. I am terrible about remembering those i told i would pray for haha!

Hello Everyone! Wed, night we had a good lesson! I am back to the crazy d.c. people! Shawn is prolly messed up by drugs! But it was a really good lesson and a testimony that you can teach with anyone with the Spirit! It was strong and we had a good unity even with a member who tagged along too!
Thurs, we updated the area like crazy it seems like that is all we did this week! We didn't meet with really anyone but got a lot of stuff done. This area was a mess!
Fri, Did some service used a chainsaw haha felt weird! we did more updating today as well! Our map was soooo junky it was just terrible. We also met a couple of our investigators! Bria, who is 17 is prolly gonna get baptized soon but we shall see! Haven't had a lesson with her yet! Haven't had too many lessons with our investigators!
Sat, Had Ward Correlation with our WML who is the senior couple in the ward! Elder and Sister Knight! They are kinda like Mr. Robertson and some other just sweet lady. haha. It will be interesting to say the least. We met with an investigator Shuai! He is from China and doesn't have much religious background! we watched finding faith in Christ! He had lots of ?'s but can't really meet again till March cause of school but i think he will come around if he takes the time to read! We have gotten dogged alot this week!!
Sun, Updating after Church again! My comp prolly thinks that is all i do haha. Teaching records, things where you can see them, map updated with everyone on there, planning for people! Tedious things that take alot of time when they are not done right as soon as they are needed which had not happened. Big day of that for us today! Bishop Cropper is the Bishop in this ward and he knows LeRoy Stoor haha went to school with him and has been in Wayan haha i think that is a first person to have said they have been there! Super funny. going to have to talk more with him!
mon, we worked today!!! Picked up new people that will hopefully meet with us later in the week,! Had a sweet lesson with Darion and Shavez two 15 year old kids who want to get baptized for the right reasons!! Excited for them. Booker's had a little visit with! Sweet family who needs to come to church! Knight had us over for my Comp"s Birthday!!!  it was a good dinner!!! Then worked some more. Today seemed like the first time working all week haha! Was good day.
Tues, had interviews with Pres. in the morning. It was really fast and he just told me i am doing better so i hope i am. We started Family History Work today and i need all the information you can send me as soon as you can! So i can figure things out! PLEASE!!! We met with a less-active Larry Alston today and he is coming back to church so it will be good to help him. He seems committed so we shall meet with him every tuesday! We then had a Cottage Meeting which was a Ward FHE and it was excellent! I hope we have more!!!
I gotta be fast today sorry i will try to write everyone today but i need to write a lot of letters!
Felt like i needed more things but i will tell you next week! Try to write them down cause they never come! I am doing great tho. My companion is very obedient  It is funny how pride can come with obedience tho. He doesn't like to break the rules that he follows but he breaks other's that aren't important to him and then tries to correct me on the things i do wrong that he likes to follow haha. It will be fun with him but we will make it! He has helped me out alot and we have very different personality's but it will still work! I like him for who he is and i hope it is the same back! My District and Apartment are very weird people. It will be difficult for me but i guess i will manage!
